We were commissioned to reimagine a compact kitchen by extending it into the adjoining conservatory, creating a more sociable and functional open-plan living space. The design introduces a central island as the focal point, providing additional preparation space and informal seating, while a dedicated dining area enhances the room’s usability for both everyday living and entertaining. The proposal maximises natural light from the existing conservatory and improves circulation, transforming two underutilised spaces into a cohesive kitchen-dining environment.
