Meet Daniel Davies he worked with Alun Owen on Aldi's in 2008/2009, in his words "a life time away". We completed about 5 stores together and Aldi eventually set up their procurement with a "one stop shop" in the Midlands served by their hub in Swindon.
After building a new regional distribution centre in Cardiff 2016, Owen Associates were appointed their regional quantity surveyors. A region from Mid Wales to Land's End, and now have completed over 30 projects since 2017.
Dan a passionate rugby player and cricketer travelled the world working as a QS. Australia and Central America to name a couple of countries - always keeping in touch. He's also has a new passion - riding and racing a bike. He's just sent me this cracking image of a training ride and the backdrop one of those first Aldi stores we worked on.
